Consistency check

Small inconsistencies make a deck look careless: title style changing mid-way, revenue that is $42M on one slide and $45M on another, a random accent color that doesn’t match the brand.

Turn on Cross-deck consistency check and ask for the top issues. PowerSlide reports what it finds — it does not rewrite the deck unless you ask it to.

It looks for things like:

• Fonts, colors, margins, and footers that don’t match
• The same idea named two different ways
• Numbers or dates that disagree across slides
• Broken “see slide 7” references

This is different from grilling. Consistency is about matching details. Grilling is about whether the argument is strong. A good order is: match the template first, then consistency, then grill.
