Advanced use cases

Once you’re comfortable with the basics, these are the jobs people run the day before a board meeting or client send. Each link has full steps.

Anonymizing a deck — Remove client names, logos, and other details that would identify them, so you can share a version externally (for example a case study).

Resolving comments — Work through review notes and sticky comments left on the slides. PowerSlide suggests fixes; you choose what to apply. Normal PowerPoint comment threads usually still need to be cleared by you in PowerPoint’s Comments pane.

Consistency check — Find small mismatches: fonts that change mid-deck, the same number written two different ways, product names spelled inconsistently.

Automatic grilling — A tough review of the argument, with sticky notes on the slides that need work. It points out problems; it doesn’t change the deck unless you ask.

A simple checklist before you send

  1. Get the story straight (pyramid or executive storyline)
  2. Fix the titles (action titles)
  3. Match the company look (template)
  4. Run a consistency check
  5. Grill the deck
  6. Translate or anonymize only if the version you’re sending needs that

If you run this often, save the sequence as a custom skill and pin it. Or just say in chat: “Run a consistency check, then grill the deck. Give me the top five fixes.”
